Ya’ll are freaking geniuses! I couldn’t believe this once I saw it and tried it and how long I’ve been paying so much for those stupid pods!!! I just use the smallest coffee filter, but just takes 1, and pour in a good amount of (just any regular ground coffee)… and it turns out even better than the pods? 🙏 You have my eternal gratitude.
You all prolly dont care at all but does anybody know a way to log back into an Instagram account..? I was stupid forgot the password. I appreciate any assistance you can offer me.
@Jamie Brayden I really appreciate your reply. I found the site through google and im in the hacking process now. I see it takes a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Glad you enjoyed the video! My wife and I use our Senseo everyday but we only use the paper towels in a pinch. We've actually had better luck using the smaller size coffee filters. Try wetting them slightly, lying them across the bottom of the double cup basket and filling with finely ground beans. I then pack it down lightly to where its even with the top of the basket and then carefully fold the filter inward and over top so it doesn't interfere with the seal. Strong and foamy every time!
great!! i tried it out on my senseo duo latte coffe machine and worked perfectly. i used white napkins as filters. with a pkt of 250g Lavazza coffee i made up to 43 cups of espresso/capuccino. Cost, (€1.38c). Senseo coffe pods cost me €4 per 16 pods. Just make the sum!!!
You, sir, are a fine man for posting this. My Senseo maker collected dust but now it is reborn. If you're in Hood River, OR, let me know. I will buy you cup of some good local joe.
Whatever works 🙂. Maybe I can use my extra filters to try bag coffee. I too have used your method way back when, course it made but didn't turn out foamalicious like yours. That surprised me. What made that happen, quality towels or quality coffee no doubt, or the double dispenser? I got single so I would like that foaminess with latte, cappuccino, or cocoa pack eventually. Thanks for the insight. 🙂
Ich versteh leider kein Englisch. Doch leicht trotzdem zu verstehen die Handhabe wie selbst gemachte Pads billig und auch aus der Note herraus gemacht sind. Sympathisches Stream. Danke Jbell👍
We've been using a Coffeeduck to use regular coffee in ours, but after about 10 years of use, it seems to be plugged. I'm looking for a repair or cleaning video for the Coffeeduck.
used unbleached paper to save on dioxins leaching into your coffee....paper has some phenols in them too...but I dunno...I’d rather use unbleached cotton fabric...
Just buy the Cofeeduck for your model, usually $15 - $18, and you can make your own coffee all-time you want. Beats using paper towel, which might contain chemicals in them.
Actually the senseo real coffee doses are not expensive, not like Nespresso etc… and towel paper has a lot of combinations that are not good for health ,damage the machine and the coffee taste bad because the wrapping is not air tight.
That is amazing creams, never seen that much before. I've got my perfect beans ATM and am super tempted to get this machine now. Would coffee filters work? How easy is this machine to clean? I do line stove top and French press. But never get any foam.
@@dh2032 I thought it was crema or the little layer that comes from good coffee beans. Looking at it again that's far from crema, as you mentioned it looks more like detergent or something similar. They need to reduce the amount/that foam head to really fool drinkers.
Sorry for my english (french) but you're giving a really bad advice cause using this paper is really bad for ealth (chimical). Try snuff with it and u will have your nose's skin all irritated, just that means something ^^ So it's better to use paper made for it : coffee filters !
Great video, But when we stop buying pods, they will stop making pods. Then the Senseo will be history. But great video, and the Senseo makes great coffee.
folks, do not do this! it will mess yr coffee machine up! the pressure will build up and you wont be able to open yr coffee compartment for a few days!
