Oh my gosh I never knew what those pieces of "bonus sheets" were used for I'm so glad I never tossed them out...🤣 I absolutely loved the way the stool came out... ❤️❤️❤️ happy crafting...
So adorable. You truly are very talented & creative. Your creativity & talent reminds me so much of my mom. She was like you, she could do so many things & they were so awesome. Thank you for sharing your wonderful creative ideas xo
So pretty Lynne ! Where did you get that great fabric that you stamped on? I use to make Designer Pillow Covers and paid a fortune for my fabrics... but I can’t find a nice solid color fabric like what you were using. It looks like a great weight and the color is perfect ! Also.... what hot glue do you use on fabric? I use Gorilla Glue sticks for my crafts. Is a fabric hot glue better ? I guess I’m old school...everything is sewn on or tacked on ... I hold my breath when I watch ladies ink up their stamps on the fabric....😳😳😳. I can see that ink pad flipping out of their hands onto the fabric...LOL!!!! It is a “me” thing... it hasn’t happened to me, but with my coordination now... yikes ! That stool is gorgeous. So classy with that simple floral pattern and just the 2 tones ! Love it !
I think I got this fabric at Joann’s several years ago. It’s an upholstery weight linen. I use regular hot glue to attach my trim. I’m a seamstress too... but I sure love the glue for upholstery applications! 💓
I wonder if you can do this on performance fabrics. I have a grandson on the way, so I'll probably try to stamp the small swatch I brought home and see if the ink 'takes'. Since performance fabrics are stain resistant, I doubt if they will absorb the ink but it's worth a try. Your creation, as always, is gorgeous!
I’ve used the inks as paint on wood( see an earlier video) but never on fabric. I don’t see why it wouldn’t work, except that it may be difficult to get a nice consistent finish. You might be better off using paint with a textile medium.
