In this video we tried to explain how we can make our own water treatment device ourselves.
By watching our video, you can easily make the best quality water treatment device at very low costs.
The pH value obtained with this configuration is 10.1.
Materials We Use:
1- 5 Micron SPUN Filter
2- GAC Carbon Filter
3- Block Carbon Filter
4- Voltron Brand Membrane Filter
5- Membrane Filter Container
6- Check Valve
4- Shut-off Valve
5- 5-pack Mineral Filter
6- Pentek Brand Alkaline Filter (GS-10 CAL / PH)
7- KX Matrikx Brand Nano Silver Carbon Filter (Antibacterial Post Carbon Filter)
7- Water Treatment Tank 2.2 Gallon
8- Water Treatment Tap
By using modern production methods of our age, the devices that make the water flowing from the taps in our homes and workplaces drinkable and usable are called water purification devices. Water purification devices, most of which are manufactured using nano technology, generally work according to the reverse osmosis principle. Pure water obtained by purifying from all minerals is not profitable and is not preferred because it can only be used in certain branches of industry. To put it another way; There are minerals that should or should not exist in both drinking water and drinking water. Filter systems of water purification devices, which are not produced with the ability to operate within the system called "reverse osmosis", do not allow the passage of beneficial minerals, since they have pores two millionth of a millimeter in diameter. Therefore, the purified water does not have enough features to drink and use.
What are the Working Principles of Water Treatment Devices?
The water passing through the water purification devices, which we learned to be manufactured with the principle of "reverse osmosis" in today's standards, is first pre-filtered. In this filter, which is also called “particle filter”, all particles in the water that are larger than five microns in size are destroyed. The purified water, which is a little bit after this process, will be cleaned in the glaze by the “activated carbon filter”. “Activated carbon filter” eliminates unwanted bad taste and odors especially in drinking water; It separates the chlorine, which should not be present in potable water, from water.
After this process, water directed to another filter that does not pass through particles of a micron size again gets rid of the unwanted and previously unfiltered particles in it. Our water, which is free of many materials in its content, is now ready to pass through the "reverse osmosis" membrane.
The "reverse osmosis" membrane is responsible for not allowing the passage of many heavy metal ions such as arsenic, sodium, asbestos, nitrate, lead, etc. that do not dissolve in water. In addition to this task, it is obliged to allow the passage of beneficial minerals that the human body needs. It is now possible to use the term “quality water” for water treated in the reverse osmosis unit. Completing the "reverse osmosis" visit, "potable water" is passed through the filter, which is named as "post carbon filter" and gives the flavor that is accustomed to water. This process has no provision other than giving taste to water.
How to Maintain a Water Purifier?
The water treatment devices you have purchased are generally tools that can be cleaned without much technical knowledge. Removable sponge filters can be used repeatedly (if a different method is not recommended in the manual) when washed clean and with plenty of water. These filters, which have an average lifetime of one year, should be replaced with new ones at periodic times since they cannot perform purification when they become unusable. Since the membranes containing the filters are parts that deform in a longer time, their service life can be considered as several years.
