I'm here for the same question. I have found that a Gif really messes with the quality, also not many social platforms like Instagram support gif. Saving as an mp.4 helps with quality, just keep copy and pasting the loop to create a 'longer video' to have the same effect as a gif, the problem here is only the filesize, the longer the video, the bigger your file.. I'm stuck here also.

Why did you apply morph cut for your transition in the coffee flow? From Premiere's own documentation, morph cut is designed for editing interviews, and uses face tracking in order to find a face and morph between it's before and after. Since the face is frozen, it shouldn't do much for the coffee?

Great video. The loop part kind of confused me, but couldn't you just have the first clip play, then copy the reverse of it afterward? Then the ending is exactly as the beginning of the next loop?

I thought an other way, I'm 2 years late but I'm new, it's the wheel example, to loop an object you create the mask with whatever you want to keep on moving and you invert the reproduction, so it goes from the beginning to the end and from the end to the beginning, so it looks like it's always moving, it works on most of the examples but not on all of them, but for example in the last one with the coffee it's much easier the way I'm thinking, isn't it?

err.. correct me if im wrong.. but with the skateboard you didnt need a second layer and masking -- just one since only the wheel is moving. i guess 1 second is enough, do a looping gif and your done.

You're right. I demonstrated it with a mask and everything to show how a cinemagraph works. But this one is so simple it doesn't need more editing in real :-)
