Thank you~ ! I bought the "Robin Buckley" wig from Wig Is Fashion because I honestly loved the color/style/cut. But it looks so greasy (shiny)!! Just tossed out my Batiste a few months back bc why would I need it now? 😆 I'll give this technique a shot. (also your thumbnail is hilarious, great eye-catcher)
@@violapedroni7758 I've personally never used it so I can't tell. I usually use wig wefts from arda wigs or wefts from some other cheap wigs to make it fuller
@@meeeee_e It might work to a certain extent but it will certainly be way more difficult to get rid of the shine in that case, since the fiber is also very different.
@roslynbrown1 0 seconds ago This is my first time watching one of your videos. So adorable! I loved that it was short and informative, yet entertaining. So many tutorials drone on and on before getting to the point. Yours was perfect, and I can’t wait to try this technique.
heyy this sounds like a really stupid question but is there a way to use this technique also for prestyled wigs? I'm new to styling wigs for cosplay and I currently have a prestyled one where I'm not sure if I will be able to style it the way it was if I would unbraid it etc :/ but I'm also worried that you will see the excess of dry shampoo on the braids :( any tips on that would be super helpful 🙏
Sadly this technique wouldn't work on prestyled wigs since the brushing is what helps getting rid of the excess of dry shampoo, so it is absolutely necessary. I wish I could help but I'm pretty new to wig styling too, and besides unstyling the wig and restyle it, I can't think of any other techniques to get rid of the shine in prestyled wigs... Sorry :( ...
I saw the difference even if barely. I think it could be a camera thing OR she did mention it's not perfect. Earlier she spoke about forgoing powder to avoid making a mess, so maybe it's about pros and cons of each method
