Great advice! Especially when it comes to using music with lyrics, I’ve been doing this a lot more where it nicely complements the audio and story of the wedding. With the right lyrics at the right time, it takes the emotional connection up a level.

Oh yea I actually used it a long long time ago. Now I’d just be worried with rights. I personally feel safer having a license to use a song.

Just gotta say, there are quite a few guys out there doing wedding film tips/info videos, but your vids are one of the few I re-watch for the info. I like that you kinda got a little bit of a @TLDRFilmamer thing in a lot of your vids.

Definitely guilty of this myself. Using one track and letting it play for the whole film like a music video. Trying to break out of that habit. Great advice on the playlist as well. I've been experimenting with different styles of music with wedding films. Not gonna lie, it's a bit scary breaking away from the trends but it's a necessity to breath new life into your films. Thanks bro for putting this out there and letting us know it's ok to break these trends.
