We moved into this house a couple years ago, and never really liked the boring brown in our downstairs bathroom. So we wanted a quick makeover that would completely change the look of the room, but on a budget. So I will attempt a bathroom transformation under $500 and get it done in one weekend!

One hint. If you spray the wall with a solution of water with a dollop of dish soap. It makes the paper easier to position.

We have really hard water as well (hardness 21) and installed a Springwell Water water conditioner (manufacturer rates it up to a hardness of 81). It is expensive, but you never have to worry about the salt systems again, the flavor of the water doesn't change, and every faucet in your home is protected. That being said I also need to remodel my main floor toilet as well. Thanks for the inspiration.
