i feel like you got a fake JSC palette.the color pay-off of the palette you got is sooo off .reminds me so much of those fake Aliexpress palettes. the real JSC eyeshadow palette is soooo much more pigmented!
I highly doubt they bought the pallete from anywhere besides his official website. I have 4 of his pallete and his older products are just not as pigmented as the ones I bought this year

You can use that highlighter even when you want just a small touch of highlight. Just use the right brush. Not a whole face powder brush. Use a fan brush.
I always enjoy your series. But as a potential customer, my suggestion with the makeup blenders would be to try them dry on one side of your face, and wet on the other so that we may see the 2 different finishing effects. Especially since they are advertised as working both ways.

The Illustrative Eyeliner is my favourite! It's so good. I'm also a big Jeffree Star fan. I'm wearing one of his shirts, the Siberian Gold Skin Frost, the Androgyny palette, and No Tea No Shade lipstick in my photo! The Androgyny palette definitely needs primer on the eyes, but it's one of my go-to palettes. I have no issues with blendability or patchiness except for the last 3, like you mentioned. Military looks bomb on the lower lashline, btw :)
I think you can find the dupe of your fav lip colour in the Indian brand Lakme. Try its lip and cheek colour in the shade 'Coffee Lite'...seems to be the same colour as the EM cosmetics lip colour you tried. Its long lasting, not drying and you barely get to know its even there for a good while!

oooh, ok this kind of somewhat confirmed my thoughts about ABH's Subculture palette. like it shares similar shades with the Androgyny palette right? i think it's those particular dyes that is hard to work with in a palette, like it actually takes more work for the user to actually get the kind of pigmentation and finish that they want that's why there's a lot of disappointments.
the Pony brow liner is thin to produce feather-like brows (alike the NYX microbrow), so you're not supposed to draw sideways but more for individual strokes ^^; that's probably why it looked "patchy and uneven".

For the jefreestar eyeshadow it actually represent jefree he is the one who dares to play with color. The moment i saw the highlighter i remember his video that he said, he wanted a more frost highlighter and so he make his own hahahaha
