@@sophiarau48 its really not because the person mentioned it was during their makeup unit in drama class which would obviously involve makeup and how to properly apply it
“This is very easy and takes just about 10 minutes!” Danielle: step one... Me: Pauses when on step one for 20 minutes, realize I didn’t do the first step right, takes it all of spend about another 20 minutes on step one. I can tell you one thing, for us women whos never tried To actually look presentable, we are strugglin. Sttttrrrugguuuulllllaannng
420 epic Chicken nugget i feel bruh. especially now when makeup is huge and we out just barely gettin started 😂 but it’s all such a hassle so that’s why i never wanted to do it but now it’s all just cause im genuinely curious at seeing if i can get good
Don’t be embarrassed hun! I went into to ulta today and told them the truth. I didn’t know anything about makeup, I’m just starting this, I need a color match. Less than 10 mins I found the perfect foundation. Don’t be afraid to speak up, they will (and damn sure should)treat you with respect. Especially if they want you to buy something.
i’m 15 and an absolute noob to makeup and i don’t really wear it bc i feel that i won’t be able to go without it afterwards since i’ll look gross and tired by comparison. but hey, quarantine makes us to strange things.
Ahaha same and I’m 14😂..honestly I’m scared to use makeup🤦🏻♀️and I don’t even know how to tell my parents that Ive grown up and I need makeup and other things🤦🏻♀️don’t know what to do
I’m 15 and just getting into makeup but I’m still a little confused and this video really helped me so thank you, I’ll definitely be checking some of your other stuff out!
I’m 13 (on my big sisters acc) and I really what to get into it but every time I try it just goes wrong and I just give up! But I’m going g to start doing in more in quarantine! x
I'm 14 and every time I go to a makeup store I feel like people are judging me. I always think that others and people who work in that store are looking at me because I'm a lil kid who's too young to wear makeup. It's so uncomfortable I literally want to die every time I enter a store with makeup.
Me not having or know how to do anything in this video: Her: "Okay now it's time for mascara." Me: THANK GOD now that's something I know how to do and I have at home!
I just whent through a problem, I really liked a boy and he flirted with me told me he liked me back and it turns out he was playing with my feelings the whole time and I spent around 2 weeks crying about it so I just spent £376 on makeup and spent loads of time losing weight and getting skinnier so that I can show him that I dont need him 🤡
Gorgeous as is but girl I’m so glad for you! You go honestly! I expected this to be about how you put on makeup and lost weight for him and then I got hit with “show him I don’t need him” and girl yes!!! You are a beauty and if he doesn’t see your worth BYE 👋
“When you’re in the store match the foundation to your neck not your hand.” Me already got out of the makeup store and matched the foundation to hand: *Oh*
You should actually match your foundation on your jaw. you blend the foundation into your neck. not everyone has a dark neck like her. Most beauticians would test on your Jaw
You are so down to earth and you don’t try to be cute or sexy you’re just so naturally lovely and it’s so refreshing! Thank you for making these videos for people like me who have no idea how to contour or bronze or whatever! It’s so nice watching you I feel as though I’m talking to a friend!
I just tried this right now and my makeup looks so smooth too, thank you so much! I’m 15 and everyone in my school knows how to do makeup except me, this was a lifesaver and looks so cute!
Mughal Vlogs I’m 13 (on my big sisters acc) and I really what to get into it but every time I try it just goes wrong and I just give up! And like all my friends can do makeup too! But I’m going to start doing in more in quarantine! x
To the people who think using makeup is “cheating” and “fake”: There is nothing wrong with it. It just enhances your already beautiful features and can make you feel more confident. If you feel happy wearing it, then do it. Don’t feel guilty for wanting to feel pretty 💕
Not sure too much information on it, but my best friend is very pale and has found a white concealer (literal white) that she mixes in with foundation or other concealers to make it light enough for her to highlight how she needs! :) (I just googled "White Concealer" and it popped up for me! I found one that NYX makes)
thank you so much for making this video! it's so refreshing to see an actual make-up tutorial on youtube, instead of heaps of first impressions. Thank you for being unique and yourself - love you ❤️

I'm 33 years old and I've never worn make up until my roommate talked me into buying some, she's out of town so I decided to find a make up tutorial to try myself and this was so easy to follow! Thank you so much ❤️
I loved this video because I have never understood makeup products as there are bazillions of them. This is so helpful. Thank you, Dani. Love your videos so much ❤️❤️
Out of all the other video's I watched, I think this has been the easiest and most understandable video. I was not taught makeup growing up, so as a grown as 30 year old this really helped me understand. I actually can't wait to go to the store to pick up some makeup to try out. I feel very frumpy at my work as the one non-makeup wearing person because I don't know how to.. Every other video was just like umm way too many products and over whelming me. Thank you.
Especially when you're on either ends of the shade spectrum. 😣 (although I can only contest about being on the pale end....I didn't realize how little pigment I had until trying to find foundation.)
I'd say to start out with a little concealer, powder and brow gel. Then you can gradually go from there! I recommend Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer, Rimmel Stay Matte powder or Maybelline Fit Me powders, and any NYX or Elf brow gels👌
Go to Sephora and they actually offer makeup lessons to help beginners but if you don’t want to spend the money videos like these can be really helpful with a little practice
Start with whatever you feel comfortable with but her is some super good base makeup ;) Mayblline fit me! Foundation Mayblline age rewind concealer E.l.f bronzing power Airspun baking power For brushes you can get e.l.f or morphe I hope I helped a bit and best of luck 🥰
Jersea drinks I really what to get into it but every time I try it just goes wrong and I just give up! But I’m going g to start doing in more in quarantine! x
Damn. Never used makeup before, and here I am watching this video actually considering going out and buying some to use. Thank you so much for this tutorial! Darling, your eyebrows are perfect! You're perfect! Wish I was a makeup pro like you!
Same with me. I soo love Clothes, Make up, beuty things. And I’m a boy too. I was ALWAYS interested in these things I was never been interested in cars or bikes. I love Clothes And Beauty things :) ❤️❤️🙏🙏🔥🔥😘😘
This is the only tutorial I have found that doesn’t make it difficult for me to understand. In one word it’s amazing. Also you’re naturally really beautiful!
I love how all these comments are like "I just hit puberty and now I need makeup" And then there's me... A 25 year old. Who's done costume makeup but for the life of her cannot figure out regular makeup
Now that's what you call everyday makeup...I can't stand it when people make these tutorials and say everyday makeup yet they put layers and layers...you look amazing...thanks for sharing ❤❤
Hi Dani, I love how u did a starters makeup vid because my bday wasn’t long ago and I got tons of makeup and I’ve never ever put makeup on in my life like from birth! 😐
thank you so much❤ this video was so so so helpful for me. I loved the look and it was easy to see understand and follow. Can you please do another video on eye-shadow because I find it super hard to do plz, but anyways I loved your tutorial
Literally everyone in my class and in my age group just told me to tell my mom to teach me, me and my mom have a really crappy relationship and it's at the point where I can't even talk to her about this kind of stuff. So thank you so so much for this.
I only do foundation since I am just starting but with this video, it has really helped me out a lot and now know what to buy for a daily and simple yet very beautiful look. ;)
@@gottalovesummer9676 you are don't ever doubt it. it's all about the confidence if you perceive yourself as pretty people will see you that way it's a scientific proof learn to love yourself I genuinely believe that you are ❤
