omg!! i am definitely on the DONT side when it comes to the bronzer. I dont use too much of the products but i definitely dont focus it on the right spot on my cheekbone i bring it too far down. And looking at your face girl, the DO side looks much more alive compared to the DONT side that looks more flat. Like i am so thankful for this video.

First off, I've never watched an entire makeup video without skipping through and saying "eff this". you explained it to the T! so perfectly. I am definitely on the "DON'T" side to a certain extent and I've always hated it because I do NOT know how to do makeup, but I am ready to clock tf out, go home, and do my makeup with all your critiques!!!! that's false. your highlighter should not overpower your damn face. It shouldn't be extremely visible either.

are you talking of highlighter or the under eye! because the under eye is different than highlighter on your cheekbones! if youre speaking of undereye brightness than it's False! Ive worked in skncare/makeup for years! Makeup is personal preference! And you can have a brighter undereye! Pro makeup artists even agree! You look brighter and fresh!! It’s supposed to also be visible! As long as the result looks good its all that matters! Stop trying to force your non existent knowledge of makeup on others!!!! A brighter under eye us a part of makeup. Which is why they ask you uf you want to conceal or brighten the under eye. A bright undereye brightens your whole face! Doy! Look at your own face! you have red eyeshadow going up to your bow brown and unflatterin candy pink lipstick! you look like a parakeet blew up on your face with grasy ashy foundation! why are you even talking when the top makeup artists tell ppl to brighten the inner parts of the face! the most!!! the secre to makeup is proper blending, so when the undereye is blended out it looks seamless. There are ye creams dedicated o brightening undereyes! sheesh

Omg!! I've been contouring wrong for so long. Lol! I do the concealer and highlight correctly, but you've taught me how to contour correctly. My nose is wide, so it is a task for me to find the right place to contour it. I just ordered the contouring stick from Maybelline!

Yes girl!! I know this is an older video.. BUT! Let me just say how refreshing out wad to watch you try to help people. We all have made mistakes but we are supposed to learn from them. . W are all beautiful and unique. Let's embrace our natural features, enhance what we consider to be our"best or our favorite" And stop walking around looking like an advertisement for a Pallet. Lol jk. Like you said..what ever makers You feel your best, do YOU. But don't follow EVERY SINGLE TREND you see on the internet because we all are unique with different textures, tones, colors, under tones, features. That's what makes us BEAUTIFUL! So thank you for putting this out there so early. I feel the need to re post this because I have a felling a lot of people should view this just once. When ppl blend there concealer with there foundation is soooo satisfying ! I actually liked the DONT side I think if she mixed both concealers together it would look better. I like a bright concealer highlight on dark skin.

Hey, I'd never watched you before... I'm a "newbie" to make up & recently went out & bought a bunch of products. I've been watching many RU-vid videos & have developed many personal methods. Thanks to yur video I see a lot of these fall under "donts" ... Fast forward to about 3 days ago I decided make up wasn't for me as I was disappointed in the results (mainly my nose). What I learned is I'm going too light with my foundation and not the right shade with my contour. Also, I'm not happy with my nose outcome because I do EXACTLY what u showed as a "don't". I liked and subscribed and look forward to future videos
