I have been watching different make up tutorials for a couple of months now. I am 40 and just starting to wear makeup. I have learned more from Shelby in the last few days than the many, many videos I have seen before I found her. I started my new job and I feel confident, and look natural and beautiful!!! The Dior foundation looked lovely on you, as did the Daniel Sandler Watercolour Blushes. Personally, I love liquid/cream blushes (I'm 64 years old) as I have dry skin and they stay on my skin well. Fifty years ago, Revlon had a cream blush in a small compact that was gorgeous. The Daniel Sandler blush reminded me of it. You look absolutely beautiful in your every day makeup! xoxo from Texas

Yes! And with prescriptions considered! A prescription over +/- 3 really changes the size and look of our eyes and it’s rarely considered in makeup videos!
Alisha08 oh my gosh yes I struggle with makeup and my vision. I cannot see to even apply the makeup without my contacts. Not even kidding I can see clearly only about 3 inches in front of my face without correction. I can’t take my glasses off to apply makeup because I can’t see what I’m doing even with a magnifying mirror..it’s too close either way. Like my brushes would hit the mirror lol. It sucks! I therefore only wear eye makeup when I wear my contacts which I’m doing less and less as I get older.

I don’t think I ever realized that you use the blonde shade in boy brow. will definitely be purchasing that instead of brunette next time. I wish there was a taupe kinda shade in between.

Another wonderful look, this time in peach. I am crazy about peach. Can you recommend a moisturizing lipstick that gives the same color as the gloss you're wearing? I bought Revlon Just Peachy, but it is too sheer and has a pearly look. OK for a topper but I want more color. One day I will pony up and try the Daniel Sandler blushes. Sooo pretty on you.
Hi! I love peach makeup too- have you tried the L’Oréal Colour Riche Shine- they have a peachy colored one and they’re super glossy but in a lipstick. Or I have a Mac lipstick in the Creme sheen formula in the color Shanghai Spice. I hope you find one that works for you! 💕
I just found your channel. Really enjoy your tutorials! Super easy to follow and realistic. Have you ever heard of a make up line called Maskcara? It's a 3d highlight/contour cream line. I just started using it. I'd love to hear your opinion of it.

Hi Shelbey Have you any tips for someone with deep set eyes my colouring is dark brown eyebrows and hair , I’ve looked on RU-vid for eye makeup on deep set eyes..... however I wasn’t a fan maybe I’m just used to my eyes being the way they are so bringing them forwards and in line with my jawline I didn’t like how it looked on the model so I skipped over that make up tutorial 🙂. I have hazel coloured eyes so I really like your tutorial on one eye pencil eye wear. Those 2 eye shadow colors on you are just beautiful! You make the blending look so effortless. With my small, hooded eyes, it’s a whole different story!

I’ve been holding off on purchasing the Dior Face & Body Foundation because it has alcohol in the ingredient list but it just looks SO good on everyone! I have combination skin. Could you wear it as an everyday foundation?
I know the Dior foundation(s) are full of perfume. Would the MAC face & Body be UNFRAGRANCED?? I have mature skin and you mentioned the MAC would be a good one for it. Would it give the same look as the DIOR??
I don't find MAC Face and Body has a scent. If it does then it's mild. The Dior Face and Body does contain fragrance which I am not a huge fan of - but the finish is lovely. I have a video comparing the two if you want to know the differences between them.

The dior foundation is so good. It similar consistency to the Mac face and body but it has more coverage and I think last so long on the skin. I love it as a mixer too because I bought a shade too dark.

I just love this look! I don’t think I’ll look like that if I try it. I’m 63!! Poor me. But I like what you did with your eyes so much. Nice and simple. And I’m going to have to try the watercolor blush. I haven’t worn makeup in years because I’ve been chronically ill for a long time. But I want to do something. I’d like to look alive for crying out loud. I’ve worn BareMinerals powder foundation ever since it came out and loved it. I HOPE I can wear it again. People used to stop me regularly and tell me what a beautiful complexion I had and that’s what I want again. I think if I blend it like crazy, it might still work. Do you ever use BareMinerals anymore? The powder? I don’t like to call it a powder because it doesn’t act like a powder.
Just wanted to let you know I bought the two Daniel Sandler blushes you recommend Caress and Golden Glow. They are the most beautiful combination ever!!!!! I use about two drops of each for a whole face and damn if it doesn’t look freshly applied almost 10 hours later!! Have you looked on his website lately? What other colors do you really love as well? That gloss is beautiful on you! What kind of wearability does it have? Does it stay on a decent amount of time? I usually shy away from using lip glosses as my main lip color because they come off on everything and you’re left with pale, greasy-looking lips.
Actually imo the blonde brow product looks very natural on you versus the brown which is a bit too dark for your complexion. Just sayin... you’re lovely as always and a joy to watch!
