I love how Kishibe subtly threatens Makima and even calls her out for the blatant liar she is. The only person in the anime/manga to do so and end up unscathed.
@@user-gv4el2qj8m Except he did. He launched a full-on attack on her to stop her from regenerating in time. Would be a hella lot cooler if pochita didn't oneshot the hell devil
@@super_xz9924 I don't remember kishibe actually hurting Makima in the manga. And as interesting as it would be, Makima would still kill hell devil as she had control of the snake and angel devil which if you didn't know are 2 of the most op after the primal sins, 4 horsemen and pochita. Mind you angel's use nearly killed pochita(ignoring his weakened state) and u know how op snake is right.
@@user-gv4el2qj8m never explicitly said that kishibe hurt her, but he did momentarily stop her. I’d like to see what would’ve happened if he actually used the hell devil but just like real life, nothing goes as planned. He probably knew it wasnt going to work but said fuck it lol
Makima talking with Yakuza boss was amazingly written, here’s this woman making demands to a Yakuza boss who’s actually speaking some form of reason and pushback and she quickly lets him know this isn’t a request.. Makima is a diabolical character
@@Bruh-ok1rqlmao I knew someone was gonna relate to that XD. Idk why the OP had those choice of words knowing it's fkn makima and how many fanboys she has lol
@@livetochange974 it's unfortunate how the Brainrot Devil taking the lives of yet another innocent soul, the same thing happens in jjk fandom with the Brainrot Cursed Spirit too. 😢😢😢
4:51 I love how I completely glanced over this while reading manga, thinking nothing of it, but when I went to check out anime, knowing what I know now, the true meaning behind her words kicked in. Chainsaw man is definitely one of those things that you need to read/watch twice to get all the pieces you missed during your first read.
Just tell me what it means because no matter how many times I read or watch the mang and anime, I will never get the true meaning of it. I'm too smooth, brained.
@@insurtusername8987She was referring to herself when she talked about necessary evil. She sees herself as the "necessary evil on the leash of the government"
@3:35 I love how much u can tell that inside Makima is absolutely enraged and finally has a reason to attack but she calmly expresses nonchalance becuz she’s already decided what to do
I never read the manga nor had been spoiled til yesterday and the moment I saw Makima's strange eyes same with how Power had strange eyes, and how manipulative she is at Denji, I knew somethings fishy about that bech
You're not to far off, because the Yakuza aren't just in Japan and are stationed in other parts of the world like NY and Hawaii for starters they can keep the money flowing. The government and Yakuza do have an understanding for the most part, not saying it's right but a good amount of older families do care about their countrymen and even donated a lot of money to those effected by the earthquake and tsunami
@@nikkimiddlekillsday5161 You made Yakuza sound a lot better than the colectivos After all, in my country, they were just convicts and ex-convicts paid by the government to crack down on opposition. They're like the extra-muscle of our current regime You would never see them caring for their fellow venezuelans or donating to charity
@@user-tj9ks1zv7k ”It’s not a true neccesary evil unless the nation itself is holding the leash and maintaining control.” How does that not sound communist?
Now go read the manga and realize how shit this adaptation really was. Mappa were too busy running their JJKS crew into the ground to make this look like anything more than a Korean animation-farm job.
