@@traianbuga to both help the driver stop his car from sliding back and also help the car slide back once they're done running the slope? It's not just to help the car go up
as far as i know they needed the cable and the hook for safety reasons. the audi quattro drive was able to get up that slope but they needed the cable when the car gets to a stop, so that it doesn't slide back down when the car doesn't transmit any power to the ground.
Imagine they would let drive you up as far as you can for you then to loose traction and get fuxkin sent straight to your creator in style while getting a new big air highscore
