Today Kenzo and I take you to Marshals to show you exactly how to do retail arbitrage and send the products we find into Amazon. It's a simple business but extremely fun and easy to do with a friend on your days off of work. Soon we will explore other side hustles as well.

Retail Arbitrage is really simple. Here's the process:
You go to the store.
Find products.
Scan their barcode on your Amazon Seller App to see if there is a profit margin for you to make.
Purchase the items.
Package them up and send them to Amazon FBA warehouses.
Amazon then Sells the Products for you, takes a fee, then pays you your profits.

I can tell you first hand i started off Amazon in August buying stuff on Offerup (New items in box) from people for $5-$15, when I had $45 to spare. DIRT BROKE. I HAVE TWO JOBS AND A FAMILY GUYS. Took my kid to Marshall's made $60 off three items that were 6.99 at Marshall's. From there it was no question about Amazon for me. I am currently dropshipping with only about 10 items in my inventory. Only because of capital am i limited, and time ( i spend about only an hour a night on my store). Currently selling an average of $600/month since September.

Enjoyed the video. A couple of things to add. If you use a resale certificate from your state, you don’t have to pay sales tax at places like marshals, TJ Maxx, HomeGoods, Walmart, Burlington, Home Depot, and Lowe’s. Another advantage to having the TJ Maxx credit card is that you earn 5% rewards on all your purchases, which adds up quickly if you shop there often.

Do you also check Keepa for the sales rank history before you decide on a product? Sometimes when you scan, the potential profit seems too good to be true and Keepa will tell you that it has only sold once in months and months and that's why the rank is good for only a short time.

Some Ross stores will take your resale certificate so you don't have to pay sales tax. Technically, it's against their corporate policy but I always try. All they can say is no. About half of the Ross stores will take it. I just set it on their counter and smile and say, " I'm tax exempt." But most of the time, I shop at Ross on Tuesdays for the senior discount, 10% off.

Man I’m so mad at myself. I did private label back in 2017. I was one of the first 300 in tanners group. My product did ok at first but then competition made it impossible to make a reasonable profit so I stopped. I just hate that I have up man o should have figured something out to keep going

Lisa Schoeneberger I mean, we only spent $170 plus whatever it cost Kenzo to send them into amazon which isn’t much. Can start with whatever amount. Obviously more you have the more inventory you can buy and the less you have to wait for products to sell
