Brett, I need to know for my own sanity; what is your role in WGMI? It seems like you spend a lot of time on content, and with your background in videography, it would make sense that that wing of the business belongs to you. But you have so much knowledge on the backend of the business, you must be handling a lot of the other stuff as well right? There's no way you have time to work with bubble yourself on top of all that, right?
@@420Flare haha no im not spending much time working in bubble thats my partners main department and we hire bubble devs at our agency that help out as well so its mostly delegated at this point. My main role is content then leading the vision, partnerships and training our team. Solopreneurship is not my style but I like to make content for people trying to make that first step since i was there and thats always the biggest information gap.
Appreciate you taking the time out of your schedule to clear that up for me@@TheBrettWay. You have so much going on at WGMI it was making my head start to spin a little lol. I'd love to pick your brain sometime, but I realize how busy you must be. I work in video marketing myself for the cannabis industry, but I'm also working on my own tech startup. You're a huge inspiration and the value you provide daily is simply unmatched. Keep it pushing!
It's kinda like when a streamer plays a video game. They get ahead and get all the currency and destroy a games economy because they have all these people boosting them and then wonder why other people aren't doing as well as them. That and people are giving them ideas to do stuff in the game and for videos. So they do it and then other people trying to do it aren't able to make money
The thing is with betting apps is that there is lots of regulations that would stop you from having your application completely out of your hands, in bubbles
only drawback is that your software business is reliant upon the "No Code" platform you built your business upon. Investors will be hesitant to buy a software where you don't own the "code"
It will also make exiting the company much more challenging, or at least way less valuable. Low-code is going to have a higher value overall - much less easy to reproduce.
Look at his face! THE EXCITEMENT, The joy. I can feel you Brett, i know this is one of the biggest opportunities ever. Thank you for the free value, I'm grateful.
that means a lot my man i put a lot of thought in what videos to release and they take a lot of work to make so just hearing that makes it all worth it!
@@Limitless_Doom actually… yes, but I’m a early-stage venture capitalist. I don’t need to apply that, I need to find people like them, give them millions and bet on them. This WGMI dudes holds nothing back. They talk about ALL their secrets and the idea about future tech is insane. I never find a more valuable Channel on YT and im pretty sure that I and many more will go our path with the knowledge which Brandon + Brett provides for free. WGMI are the OGs!
I’m happy I planted the seed but you did the hard part. That’s all you my man props to you for putting in the work and seeing it all through you deserve the success!
@@TheBrettWay the hard work isn’t done yet, I’m still at the infancy stages of this story. I haven’t been able to translate this new skill into $ yet and looking forward to your next couple of videos. However, I’m patient, you build a Manson one brick 🧱 at a time. Thank you for sharing, your content invaluable.
This all sounds great... BUT... what are your thoughts about the bubble workload pricing changes? Software that requires a lot of processing will be super expensive to own, once you start getting some paying customers. Is it still profitable? Especially for software that charges 10-50 euros/month for its customers?
hey bro ! love your content and honesty ,you are giving to the world ! can you please make short video about your eating habits and nutrition you are using your everyday life . you mentioned in one video , that that was one thing that if you would know it before , you would be better off with your life even more earlyer , i think that knowledge would be soooo valuable for everyday people to know and would get peoples life better , living by principle that first take care of yourself , then everything else gets better ! thanks ahead , and keep up your good work , looking foward your new content ! much love , cheers !
Just checking. I have paid the $3 to get the template, however, the very next step says activate a 14 day trial, and states that it's then $32 per month from that point. So is the template $3, or $32 a month? You mention sending a screenshot to your team - does that remove the $32 a month fee? Can you please explain the cost of the template to us? Thanks a million 🙂
Hey Brett, I know u've answered me once, but the site keeps going down, is it because you're making changes / updates? everytime i get half into a video it stops and takes me out and says the domain has expired.. hope there will be a solution
Brett, your videos are great man! Probably the youtuber in your space delivering more value! How do you go from MVP to actually starting to sell? What are your typical steps to market, test market acceptance and scaling? Thanks!
since software and MVP's take time to build i always start trying to build up media assets on the side. Instagram pages, tiktok accounts, my personal brand, podcast, newsletter, communities we have dozens of these with the sole intent of using them to gain "free" momentum. Since we do this we have the ability to test narratives, see what people are interested in and pivot on a dime. The only thing we know is we dont know anything until we get market feedback. I have spent months and tens of thousands on ideas that i thought were great only to run into a brick wall i didnt see coming so building media assets has been something we do immediately when we have an idea. an example is if i have an idea for a car dealership software i would immediatley start a car dealership community and an instagram account that posts multiple times daily around car dealership education for my target demographic. doing all of this just to foster a group of people that i can learn and get feedback from as well as potential customers. It is very straight forward just gotta be committed!
Just have millions of dollars, viewers and 30 people working for you that can make 50 social media accounts and upload 100 times a day, tho they probably use ai to do that now. Ezpz
I am glad hardcore coders build those APIs for everyone just to steal 😂 FYI traditional developer do not reinvent the wheels, they also use npm, git and APIs to build powerful features, because these existed long before no-code platforms. Beside, Google cons of no-code, they have tons of issues like lock-in, scalability, flexibility etc.
Signed up, Immediately after watching this and with some experience in AI, I had a lightbulb of an awesome idea - can't wait to learn more and make something cool!
I'm selling shares of two companies one is a cab company and one is a jet company. I decided to give up on stuff I didn't know so I have the ability to get a pilot's license and chauffer license.
Thanks for sharing the idea. Is there a way I can find the template you used to create the app? It wan in the video, but I could not find it in a bubble template library
I set notification... thank you.. I am thinking what software ideas could be possible in art, gift, creativity and so on waiting for you next video .. thanks
Brett, how do you patent some of these business ideas so that someone else can't jack the idea once it has a public release? Since it's no-code, is it possible to patent or copyright the Bubble + Rapid API integrations?
yes that is a narrative i will be talking about when web3 becomes popular again. You can token-gate, create nft marketplaces and much more just look at the bubble template marketplace. I think this is the most valuable skill to learn because it translates to every market. We just position our agency services to whatever the market is interested in.
Because it's getting so simple/cheap to build software the market will get flooded and prices will eventually plummet to the point of almost free saas offers. So if you own a saas company you will have to have a backend of other offers to off-set the weak earnings from your software
ya, but we are still a ways off from this. the point here is to get in early, build your empire, and then you have the freedom to do anything you'd like. the other issue is that these no-code options wont be quality. and then you can actually charge for quality, if you are a Full Stack Developer. Because having your entire software supported by API's is not a smart move, just because if those api's are no longer supported or something happens and you don't have access, your entire platform is done for.
@@begracefulonline vendor lock-in + not understanding how things work + its' def not "early" anymore = I wouldn't go for no-code with that much peace of mind tbh
Great stuff. The link got me signed in but took me to the 14 day free trial page and says it’s $32 a month after that. I didn’t see anywhere to get the free template. Anyone else Juno in yet and get the template?
Bruh. They got yo as. These websites make HIM money, not you. It's all any of these youtybe videos do. They get your email and phone number for their contact lists to have ai send you emails. Or you actually pay for the service and never make money because you don't have 30 people helping like he does.
@@TheBrettWay What about rapidapi? I see they have free api's which could be a good start, but is there a limit on the calls your users could make to them? Great work, Brett.
@@DBarnaud You're right - it's always Porter's five forces. The story's good for startups. I guess Bubble is good at the proving stage but startups will have to build their app eventually. One less dependency.
Lol. Come back in 2025 with screenshots you have more than 10 "users". Learn to code and copy these websites. Dont use them you only make money by making the original idea then doing pyramid scheme subs. Or making youtube content and putting affiliate links in descriptions. And ofc courses
@@TheBrettWayI can actually see how passionate you are, my passion comes off as “intense” but no one says anything when they cash the checks lmao 😜 Kinda shitty though to hear that from clients…
