Making 100 shirts from 100 water samples collected across the Chesapeake Bay watershed? I'm a professional artist and I devote most of my time to exploring a deeper connection to the Chesapeake. In this project, I'll be travelling up and down the watershed, to multiple states, and metro regions. At each stop I'll be collecting water which I'll use to dye a shirt with a map of the Chesapeake region itself. The goal is like you guessed it- 100 unique shirts which jigsaw together as individual pieces of a larger story about our connection to the water here on the Chesapeake.
