Hey, am using AutoCAD 2017 and mine has Render Presets Manager instead of Advanced Render Settings pallette. So how do I access all those settings that you adjusted there??
If you are wondering why stairs are going nowhere, the model used here is an incomplete one from my rendering course. For the complete 3D model check this article thesourcecad.com/autodesk-360-rendering-solar-study-panorama/
Can you tell me what kind of video card you're using? My system is running extremely slow with this drawing. When I went to select all the spotlights in the Lights In Model palette, for example, it hung for about a minute after clicking the first spotlight until I could shift/click the last one to select them all. I'm using a Radeon video card rather than a Firepro or Quadro. I'm wondering if that's the problem and if gaming cards really bottleneck the process this bad. Otherwise, I should be good as far as hardware goes, (I think). Using Autocad 2017.

Жалко что AutoCAD пошли по пути упрощения рендеринга и мы не видим тех настроек что были в 15-ой версии. Видимо в Autodesk считают что для этих целей нужно использовать 3ds Max
I think it's because of the change in the AutoCAD rendering engine between the time this tutorial came out and the version you are using was released. You can change that by keying in RENDERENGINE in the prompt and entering 0 in the field that comes up. Enter and the options in the rendering should have changed hopefully.
Here is the system requirement for AutoCAD knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad-mechanical/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/System-requirements-for-AutoCAD-Mechanical-2016.html
Actually there are more details in this drawings which are not available in this video, you can see it here learn.thesourcecad.com/p/create-photorealistic-house-from-scratch-to-end-in-autocad
No, and you should not use cracked version of software. If you are a student you can get free student copy of AutoCAD with three year license from Autodesk website.
