In this behind the scenes part 1 we dive into the pre-production to production of our latest short film - Unprofessional. This was an incredible experience to be a part of and see so many other collaborators get involved. We were able to shoot this film for just under $1,500. While that it isn't nothing, it does go to show you what you can do with hard work, passion, and some great friends.

Dude, I know I’ve said it quite a few times, but seeing that first idea turn into the final film is incredible. So cool to watch a passion project come together. Thanks for doing a bts! It’s inspiring to see filmmakers overcome challenges and create!

Drew, AMAZING BRO! But I wanted to ask, if your budget was $1500, how did you cover the equipment costs? Did you rent it, or did the crew use their own gear?

Thanks man, the crew brought all their own gear. The cost was some with cast, location, and production design.

I had made a feature film for about $1600, shot in black and white, mostly in my home town in ten days. The movie name is 'Rishi Ki Dunia'. It turned out okay as per the reviews I got. Now I have my second feature film script ready but I haven't found a producer yet. Really wish to see my second feature film become a reality. Also, I am yet to see your short film Unprofessional. But I saw glimpses in this video and it looks very cool and the premise is interesting. Will catch it shortly. 👍

I saw the short and really loved it. It was really funny and interesting. Gave me David Fincher vibes. The actor was good too. This can be turned in to a feature film.

I am trying my best. If possible I need to start this year itself. It's been almost 2 years I have been sitting idle. I have made some short films during this time but I really want to make another feature. Really hope it works out. Also, I saw 'unprofessional'. It gave me David Fincher vibes. Really loved it. Taking in to consideration the budget it's a very good short film. 👍

Did you coordinate with the AirBnB host that you were using the location for filming? Or did you just rent it and show up?
