I felt that in my soul I got a lot of things from the dollar store too tho but the box itself was the most expensive part.

Kayla Chard it was just regular construction paper but, you can buy like stuffing/hay material that looks like this from michaels for $1. Since I was using construction paper anyways and couldnt find that hay like filling I just made my own by folding the paper (: hope this helps!

Aww yea I think theres tons of inspo on pinterest too I bet and I made like two boxes for my dad Printing and putting a pic in is a good idea too. When i did one for fathers day or his birthday I forget i added a picture of me him and my sister from when i was just a baby and he was holding us two. Its a cute touch to add some photos i think (:
