Thanks for this video, I am curing some spalted maple for a couple Telecaster style builds in the Spring. How thick is your piece of spalted beech for your top? It looks thicker than 1/4" ( 6.35mm ). Thank you.

Oh, awesome. I usually use tops around 10mm thick, around 3/8”. Also depends on the thickness of your body, I like to end up with a guitar around 40-45mm thick

Isn't it a bit wasteful to use padouk on the body? Yet you used another wood as a cover. So why padouk?

Beautiful guitar!! How’s the guitar now? Do you ever have any problems with moisture/heat causing problems with laminated wood like that? Is it still smooth when you run your finger over the glue line or can you now feel where they join? Cheers

Thanks, appreciate it. You can't really feel the glue line, if you use enough glue you can definitely keep it stuck very well

Did you purchase the neck already built? What router bit did you used Great job

Yeah, the neck is just one I ordered online. I use multiple bits, to copy the template I use a standard template bit with a bearing. To round off the edges, just use a simple roundover bit
