Yours is now the de facto way of doing a leather video. Makes surfing for leather videos a pleasure. I am sure there are times I might want to listen to how someones mother's great uncle got them started in the craft, but mostly I want to see a how-to video with nothing but how-to.
If you don't mind, who do you get the snaps with your logo on them through? I want some with my logo and there are so many companies that do it. Im not sure who to try. Yours look very nice. Thank you.
really enjoy your videos! what did you pour onto the leather after dyeing? pure neatsfoot to counter the effect of using alcohol based dyes (guessing cause one of your other videos showed fiebing's dye in a color only avaible on a alcohol basis)? Generally I'd love to get more info from your videos (maybe a short list at the end?) like leather thickness, tools, etc, though i can understand if you don't want to show that or it interrupts the flow of your video... anyways, thank you once again for sharing!
UNBELIEVABLE THE TALENT THAT YOU HAVE, IT'S JUST SIMPLY AMAZING, SUCH A FANTASTIC KEY CHAIN, THANKS SO MUCH FOR SHARING THIS SUPER WONDERFUL VIDEO, I LOVE THE KEY CHAIN
that's a heavy duty key chain i betcha it will last many lifetimes . i noticed that hammer you often use ' it had a nail puller on the end , did you make it ? its nice thanks.
Thanks! It's an antique crate hammer, my family history has a lot of linemen in it and they call it a pole knocker because they'd use them to check for rot in telephone poles, however they were originally made to open and close fruit crates about 100 years ago :) they're great to use for leatherwork because they're solid cast iron but if you get one that hasn't been heavily used you might just have to grind down the hammer face, most of them came with a knurling that will mark the leather if you use it like I use mine (which has a polished smooth face)
I am looking for the type of Concho that has two little thinks like wings on the back that go into slits and hammer over to affix - this is more for wallets, don't know how these are called -- need help please.
