Interesting channel. You earned a sub & I gave a very rare 👍(because I hate how that affects _my_ choices). I would have liked to see the resistance tester explained in more detail. It took me several reads to read soul/owl & despite the image of what I first thought was a cat. I kept reading _so WILful crafts_ which might also be true 😅 Any maker with UT210 clamp meter and hw107 boards is worth following.
What are the dimensions of your panel? It seems those are close to the commercial 100w panel at least ? So you believe that panels sold as 100w or 200w are actually those values or much less?
Each cell is 6"x6" (15.2×15.2 cm) so the whole panel is 4'×1' (121×30 cm). That's net dimensions of solar cells without the ftame. I guess it depends on where you're looking🤔 If it's a cetrified dealer, then it should be fine. But I wouldn't take random __express sellers word for it, cause they tend to "exaggerate" more often than not😆 The thing is, that it's the instalation of your panel, that majorly affects its performance. You can get a true 200W panel, and it will perform as a 50W panel, if you'll install it at a wrong angle to the sun. And don't get me started on shading...😂 In my humble experience, even the slightest shading of a panel (for example shading of 1 cell) significantly decreases its output power.
so what makes you think using ready made solar cells is diy. diy the solar cells. try copper-copper-oxide and others. just electro-oxidize the copper sheet or pipe from both sides, so you have three terminals. middle support copper and both faces semiconductor copper oxide. also copper has the heat collection additional benefit.
Sorry, but I think you got terms "panel" and "cell" confused. But thanks for a great video idea! I'm off to mining copper ore! Brb 👍😁 In the meanwhile, have a nice day!
@@SoWlfulCrafts yeah mining and extracting copper is a nice idea, when copper metal sheets are expensive, similar to solar cells. which one you can do easily at home, solar cells or copper sheet solar panels. without using the store.
