She is 27, has 2 kids and lived with her mother for the past 7 years but somehow she thinks her mother is "jealous" of her studying to be a lawyer. Give me a break.

So she’s going to school for criminal justice and forging checks? Does she not know her career would be over before it started if her mother pressed charges?

The defendant is shady. I don’t trust nobody who looks like they are awake, asleep, and high at the same time. 🤦🏽‍♀️

At 2:02, how in the heck does $1200 every two weeks equal $400/month??? I’m guessing that judge Milian realized there’s no way in hell the daughter coulda been paying $1200 every two weeks, and that the mom musta meant to say $200.

I do not believe the Mom is mean; she is disappointed with the choices her daughter has made, having 2 children by 27 with the first child being 10. The mother has a 14year old and of course would be wary of her 27 year old daughter acting out and influencing the younger one. I am happy to hear she has completed 2 years of criminal justice AAA and is on her way to making her life better (if true) but she needs to drop her entitlement mentality, no one owes her for her earlier mistakes.

To all my young parents, it is not your parents responsibility to help or take care of your kids that you bared down and had. If they want to help, be grateful and take that all in! Get your life together!

My jaw almost hit the floor when the announcer expressed this young woman said her mother is jealous because she’s more successful than she’ll ever be. I’m floored. Any success she has after living with her mother for 27 years and receiving public assistance, is partially due to her mother’s and the public’s support. Gratitude should be what she’s expressing towards her mother.

I had similar happen to me, I had my signed check in my room and my mom took it and felt she should keep some cause she helped me fill out some financial aid papers to go to college when I was 18. I think that’s a piece of💩more because she just took it n deposited to her bank. I couldn’t believe it.

the day my daughter said she was expecting i insisted she move home..her and her fiance were to live at home with no worries ,no bills ,to just save $, go to the doctors and be pregnant forto ensure a good future for my grandson..6 months after he was born they had saved up enough to start a good life with plenty of savings and no bills.

Criminal justice AAA basically means you can become a cop.

While she didn’t have a right to that money, you don’t have to sign checks deposited in an app. I do it all of the time on my banking app. You just take pics of the checks, fill out the info, hold on to the hard copy check in case you need to prove it’s real, and the money is in your account. There may be a hold (in my case $100 is released immediately, $100 is released the next day if applicable, and any remaining amount is released after 5 business days). If the check was never reported and the person at the bank confirming the deposit isn’t diligent in checking the name of the payee, then it would clear without ever being signed.

6:24 I hated how her accomplishment was dismissed... and the judge had to let it be known it was a "2 year degree" with ZERO congratulations. Regardless of what we think, there's clearly decades of history we don't know so I'll stay neutral and just wish them healing. 💞

Sounds like mom was sick of her half stepping between being an adult and a child. Its clear by their "issues" (mom not wanting to give her a ride or watch the children), this woman child couldn't or wouldn't stand on her own two feet. Hmm. I ponder the sensibility that tax paying citizens are paying this woman $1200 a month to house her own child and grandchildren in the same family home she has always housed her in and didn't need to collect money for until her daughter was grown with her own children. But, then, I suppose the flip side would be that big property investors would just be getting richer with the same rent money should she have lived anywhere else.
