Cool stuff, bud. I just started up in model making and mini-figs. I want my first big project to be a model of the cabin! Thanks for some inspiration and ideas. Gonna check out more.
You got good taste in horror movies, I would say ED2 is not just my favorite scary move, but my fav in general. I love Sam and Bruce and the movie is just amazing! You did a brilliant job and I am completely jealous. I just bought the NECA Ultimate Ash figure and with it just bought a dollhouse table and desk that looked like they would be at home in the cabin. The little desk has drawers that open too. Gonna display the Axe and Linda's head on the tiny table. Then the recorder, necronomicon on the desk. It comes with a possessed Ash hand too and that I am gonna have crawling out of an open drawer. I know its not as intricate and good as what you did, but I am a low effort kind of a guy :)
Ahhhh I see from your profile pic you're also a man of culture! But yeah Im on the same boat. Evil dead 2 made me a fan of horror and Sam Raimi! I remember as a kid being shocked that he had gone on to make the Toby McGuire spiderman!
@@ARFed Yep, and he did a great job till the fucking studio and producers wanted to get involved in the 3rd one and screw it all up. Tell you what I really want is that Damn Deer Head! It's my favorite part of the film. I looked for one online and they are pricey now!
@@ARFed Just wanted to share with you what I have been putting together. I do not have craftsman skills, so it's all just bought and displayed. I still think your gonna like it though. Hopefully it lets me share a link here. www.reddit.com/r/EvilDead/comments/m94836/wanted_to_share_my_evil_dead_2_display_i_have/
Not gonna lie, quarantine got too all of us. I started making dioramas too. First project was COD modern warfare with McFarlane project ghost figure. This was pretty neat. Huge fan of the Evil Dead franchise.
@@ARFed for reals man, the constantly stayed home got me to where I started making hella movie dioramas. Even made one for Freddy vs Jason ending fight scene at the dock. But keep it up the diorama good work man.
That is a wonderful evil dead cabin you are very talented awesome job. The Trashed Picture Show told me about your channel you have unbelievable Talent.
What I think would make it even better is put in some random planks on the floor because in the movie the floor is dirty and just put some clutter on the floor too and it will look nice
YEAH! in retrospect the floor was wayyy too clean. HECk, the whole cabin was to clean, I want to go back and redo it! I can totally make look spookily aesdthethic
Always on a budget!! Im broke af so I always look for the cheapest, BUT HIGHEST QUALITY Materials. I try to buy material that I know ill use a lot of In bulk, like epoxy and clay! And when it comes to parts for figure I order knocks offs from china! Since they're great for random parts
Awesome work! I'm also building a 1:12 scale replica of the Evil Dead Cabin. Taking much longer than I anticipated. Would you be able to tell me the brand name or any other info on those plastic sheets you used for the walls? I would greatly appreciate it if you could, thanks!
Yeah for sure! I found them at my local art supply warehouse for around 7 bucks. The brand is called "wee-scape". And the specific wall pattern name was "styrene pattern sheet" I found some on amazon for a little bit more too. But Heads up if you want the most accurate movie walls I remember seeing one of their products with a thinner "wood planks" pattern, I would have used it in retrospect! Hope that helps!
@@ARFed you and another RU-vidr got me into working on dioramas I ordered the Loomis and laurie strode set and the Halloween 2 Michael figures and I want to make the hospital scene at the end of the movie
@@johnmowry4691 THE NECA 2 PACK RIGHT? I just got the clothed Micheal and was super tempted to get that too!(Even more tempted now)And Im glad you're getting into it! It's honestly such a good time. So let me know how it turns out! OH and hobby lobby is your best friend when it comes to scaled down accessories. Good luck!
