Hello friends, i made a foldable camping table from pallet wood. It is a cheap and easy to make table. Hope you like it.
love it, I made some think like this years ago, I am a Fisherman, sit on the river banks alot, the legs, I used rod rest, as legs, the adjustable ones, great table
This is very clever! Thanks for sharing. A couple of thoughts/questions...I don't have the little wood spacers, could I simply place pennies in there and have them fall out when it gets rolled or do the spacers stay in place? I want to try to adapt this to fit over some stacked milk crates that I'll use as packing crates to go camping and (while there) stacked forward facing crates as the support to a make-shift kitchen/workspace while camping. The roll top made here would be used as the top to the set up. If I positioned the horizontal support boards under the roll top to straddle front and back of the crates and mount another board under the last boards - to fit on the left/right sides of the set up - I'm thinking that should keep the roll top table from sliding off the milk crates. Thoughts/suggestions, anyone?
This was an excellent project and really good craftsmanship! However, I'm disappointed you bought large wooden dowel rods for legs instead of making square-tapered legs also out of pallet wood.
Hahaha. I see your point but why critique an artistic esthetic choice? It would have been logical to continue the salvaged wood theme but artist choice!
Fantastic build. Very well done video self explanatory despite no audio. I have a doubt: are the legs splayed at an angle? It appeared to me they are as table was assembled but didn't appreciate this as nut was inserted on table top underside. Keep on the good job. More like these salvaged wood projects please.
It seems like because of the camera lens but actually it did not have an angle. I didn't like the top underside either. It can be improved with joints between woods to make them pluggable with tension of the detachable rubber strip
