Awesome attention to details , I can’t image the time it would take me in setup time adjusting my mill to 30 degree drilling . Very nice work . Definitely next level custom

Wow--I could watch these precision machining videos all day. Turned out gorgeous. Also, I was grumbling about how much a brake would cost--Brownell's has them starting around $150, then installation.... Clips like this demonstrate why quality parts cost money. Nothing cheap or easy about manufacturing an item like that. I don't have the tools, nor the skill, to try and DIY it.

CNC machines can pump them out in mass's very quickly ,so they should never be to expensive , more work in tidying them up than making them..

Why make a forward ported muzzle brake, I thought the reason was to reduce recoil? Really Nice work you are doing.

Ever been on the firing line next to someone with a rear or side ported break?

Might I ask what grade of stainless are you machining? Would it be something like 303, which is made for machining?

For the brakes I am using 416. Machines well and is less expensive than 303.

Most stainless barrels (Krieger, Bartlein, Hart) are 416 grade.

@@bretthl1 I think I saw that you mentioned that in another video. I managed to score about 100 pounds of 1.5” solid 303 stainless rods from my local scrap dealer for $1.00 a pound. That’s about a 13th of retail price. They have some 2 3/4” round that I might go back and get if I can get the scrap price on that as well!

💥 HOW MUCH TO MAKE MORE ❓ 0.740" OD / 6mm bore / 5/8"-24 thread Would have to be competitively priced to the SHREWD - #3 MUZZLE BRAKE ( $100 would be fair given your wrench relief cuts, and the ability to get custom OD. )
