making a gematric painted wall, in this video i attempt to paint a geometric style wall art in a bedroom, it is the first geometric wall i have ever done and i learnt a lot about wall art and the process. i used frog tape to outline my geometric paten and then used 3 different colours to create a beautiful accent wall, well at least i think it was.

making this accent wall was easy enough then i thought, but i found that i should have maybe designed the geometric idea on paper before i started as making it up as i went along was a bit of a mistake i feel. i decided to used frog tape for this project and Pulling of the frogtape was very satisfying, i was shocked at how good the frog tape really was (this is not a paid promotion) just my take on the product. The lines it left was so crisp and the sharp paint lines looked brilliant, i might even start using frogtape for cutting in paintwork more often. the tape cost me around £5 to £6 and in my opinion it was well worth it.
i used a matt wall paint as i have had silk paint peel in the past and thought a matt paint will give me the best chance, i only had a couple spots peel and this i think was down to the direction i was pulling the tape off, i learnt at the start where it peeled the purple paint that pulling the tape of away from the paint at 90 degrees or there about worked best for me in this case, tho when i had paint in both sides of the tape i think i tried to pull the tape off away from the darker colour. this is because when i painted the colours on the wall the darker they got the more tacky and thick the paint felt so i thought they would be more likely to peel that the lighter colour. but i am not sure if it made any difference as nearly all of it came of fine anyway.
over all i think the geometric wall was a success but i would love to read what you all think in the comment so let me know how you think the feature wall turned out.
