You two have inspired me so much. I made my own leather bound tome... It took two months and it looks like trash compared to yours but the sheer fact that I can say I made a while ass BOOK is still surreal to me. I wouldn't have even attempted something like this if it wasn't for your videos!❤️

Very "solid" project! I once saw a full metal binding in on of our libraries here that had a chain mail type of construction made out of silver-copper alloy to keep the spine flexible. The tragic thing was that somebody had left the book open without closing the clasps and the parchment inside swelled too much for it to be ever closed again.
