I'm making a fan-made game featuring and inspired by Hellboy!
In this devlog, I go over the major progress made since the last one a few months ago. Specifically showing off a new BPRD hub and lots of combat improvements!

You should add like secret collectibles that when you collect it it gives you lore from the comics like when he went to mexico or sum like that

Man its come to the point where I'm more excited about this then the official hellboy game coming out. If I had to make one small criticism when I was playing it the quick shoot would happen when I try to just aim with the gun. I'm not sure if there's a way to fix it but it was something that happened to me a few times

Absolutely loved the demo! Combat is fun so far and so are the puzzles. One of the best character models I have seen!

So amazing!!! I love seeing the progress. Youve really captured the environment straight from the comics and movies. The way hellboy walks and his mannerisms are spit on too.

This is really cool, I miss making stuff for dreams, but i was bad at sculpting😭

No one masters a skill when they start, for all the progress you see here, there have been countless exits without saving or even reverting versions because sculpts didn’t look good , logic wasn’t working or we found a better way to do something. It takes a lot of practice, especially for dreams!

Bro is making my dream game. I wish developers would pay more attention to your work. Web of Wyrd was alright but not the right genre for Hellboy.

Abe is not intended to be playable, the amount of planning that went into Hellboy was way more that I realized, if I did that amount of work again, it’d have to be on another IP

Yo for your next project will you try to make a Daredevil game or an Invincible game You could take some inspiration from the arkham games for Daredevil and superman 360 for Invincible

One of my favorite things about the new version is that when you walk in front the mission board the projection of the BPRD logo shows on hellboy

I heard that Dreams was meant to get a ps5 update. Has that ever happened? Was there any news about that? Nonetheless, it's great to see Dreams still having an active fanbase

As far as I know, no official PS5 port or update, there have been some major QoL stuff and that’s been great but a PS5 port would have been amazing!

Man, seeing how much work goes into something like this is honestly really inspiring. Also, I would like to know for the future, do you intend on putting any voice acting for possible dialogue? Or will it be sort of like an rpg where little noises or beeps are used for their words instead?

I watched the hellboy movie over your videos i saw little bite sof it before but today i watched the first movie ill probably watch the second one tomorrow idk if i should watch the animated movies after the first one or the second live action movie apparently there cannon to each other
