You were blessed with the talent to make every single equipment that you are presented sing! I salute you for that. That' s called havin' soul ♥️ Your cuttin' skills have improved, too?!
Thank you! I try to make the machines work for me, not me for them. 🤪 My scratching still needs some work but I think I'm just more confident now then before
Your ability to master new equipment never ceases to amaze me. You make it look so easy. Another awesome Video from Accurate Beats. Been a fan of the page for a while but following you on instagram now too. Looking forward to it.
Thank you man, I appreciate that! I really enjoy learning new machines, it always gives me inspiration and makes me learn new things. Thanks for linking and following!
Hey man that groove at the end is really really strong. I hope you do make that album. You could cut and splice from all your demos and create something incredible.
As always another top video bro! Always blown away by your coherence with the different tools.... I had a question did you ever consider a Roland TR 08 or TR8S? Do you feel the Arturia/Analog sound is better for a drum machine than the Roland 808 sound...?
I think I should make a song using every piece of equipment. My Roland R-8 for the drums, Yamaha DD55 for the second Drums & Percussion, The Bass guitar for the bassline, All 3 Of my Keyboards (XV-88, D-50, & JD-Xi all manufactures by Roland), the Akai MPC Renaissance for the sample triggering & sequencing, my sound modules (Yamaha TX81Z, EMU Proteus 1, Korg M3R, Kurzweil 1200 Pro 1), the Numark NV or Technics SL1200mk3 for the Vocal samples manipulated on the Wheels Of Chill. I usually use 1 foreground instrument (either piano, lead guitar, lead synth, or clarinet).
Hey man if you had to describe the differences in the sounds on the regular drumbrute and the impact, would you say either one is better for hip hop? house? any kind of music. I understand the impact does more in the way of distorted sounds. Does the original drumbrute perform better for clean sounds?
Great video! I like the flow, it's got a summer vibe :).....p.s. I have so much doubt to buy the MPC Live. I hear a lot of people have technical issues with it. Did you experience any? Thanks for the video/inspiration!
Thanks a lot! I actually had a small problem with my unit not finding the hard drive at first... It was fixed in a couple of days and has been running perfectly ever since! Thanks for watching!!
Ebraltazar I was gonna get the live but after years of struggle with updates on MPC gear, i copped the Push 2. My productivity increased by over 50%! With the new DrumBrute it’s gonna go over the top!!!
Dude, just happened to stumble upon your channel but PLEASE tell me the stand you're using to make your MPC Live at an angle. I've been searching for stands to do this for weeks and I never thought of just buying what looks like maybe a laptop stand? Just let me know, it would be insanely beneficial.
I want that impact but I also want that mpc live.....I don't have space for gear so I need to think of my needs..do you really need a drum machine for mpc live doesn't the mpc live come with all kind of sounds.
I actually run my entire main out chain through the 404 before the signal goes to the monitors right now. I get this use out of the effects that way :)
Hahan! Don't be dude! The gear is just stuff and tools. Great beats can be made on an iPhone if that's all you got :) Having gear is a lot of fun though :)
Dope stuff! I noticed that you use headphones most of the time.. and closed back ones too. Do you just use them to make the beat and then mix on monitors or do you use headphones for the whole production? Adding to that: Do you mix inside of the MPC/Maschine software or transfer to a DAW for mixing?
For videos like this I just work with the headphones for the entire thing... I don't mix these quick beatmaking sessions. Also I have a kid sleeping in the next room :p For music that I released for real I normally use the headphones for producing and the monitors for mixing. For projects with a lot of scratching or longer vocal parts I mix the stems from Maschine in Logic, otherwise I mix the complete track in Maschine :)
Good video I enjoyed it a lot of people on here saying they going to get rid of their old drumbrute for the new drumbrute impact to tell you the truth the original drumbrute has more drum sounds on it. It is a better drum machine if you are having trouble with creativity don't blame the drumbrute blame yourself start switching up your workflow and start thinking outside of the box
Thank you, thank you, thank you! No, I don’t sell beats... I release them as instrumentals but if I were to work with an artist I prefer a true collaboration over a business deal and a sold beat.
Super dope ,warts and all stuff"...not perfect, real...and you do waaaaaaay more than just demo the stuff that Arturia gives you and talk too much about coffee 😮. I particularly love the by ear sync as that gives you a pocket you often can't get otherwise. 👏👏👏 👊
Warts? Yeah, I try to make stuff feel as real as possible without quantization and that crap. I'm glad you appreciate the effort I put into these videos man. Thanks for watching
Accurate Beats it's a common figure of speech is the US meaning as is, not derogatory in anyway. Small "mistakes" and character that piano roll shit never has and the vibe stays intact.
They're two completely different things... The MPC is awesome, Maschine, SP-404A, Op-1 and PO-33 as well. Those are all things that hold samples. The two DrumBrutes on the other hand are analog devices that actually produces audio themselves. I see them as just another tool for sculpting my sound and getting my drums feel just like I want them to. It's definitely not something you NEED to make beats but to me they're just a really cool addition to my studio. Thanks for watching
I'm on a vacation from my day job at the moment so I can focus a bit more on RU-vid than usual right now. I try to post a mix of musical videos and videos about gear and home studio stuff. The only thing that keeps me from posting videos daily is the number of hours in a day. I'll check out the channel you mentioned but I can't make any promises about my content at the moment. Thanks for checking it the video!
ok thanks heaps because im not a huge fan of the type of music they make but i watch them because they still make lots of videos of them making beats which i like to see
