I am NEVER tired of late Victorian/edwardian makes. Mostly because I love atmking them and I actually wear them (with also 40s,50s styles). Feel free to FLOOD, friend ! I'll be glad to watch anything you make as long as you have fun with it.
Not at all. I'm in love with this style. You should try some styles from Anne of green gables or Meet Me in st Louis. It's a beautiful Era ❤️ Love the outfit!
Both of us enjoyed watching the design and construction of your elegant lace yoke silk blouse; love the way the lace blends with the blue silk. The reveal was awesome, including the music, the setting and the grace of the model. Can't wait to see the evolution of the skirt.
You are now officially my new favorite Costube Channel next to BB! Your Style is so much what I aspire to be, your videos are phenomenally narrated, shot and soothing to watch. The unhemmed, tucked in Shirtwaist is SUCH a mood, I never hem mine because I usually leave a ton of hem allowance and at some point, it stops shredding lol. The crochet lace and combination with the blue silk is GEORGEOUS and such a great idea. I was pondering what to do with the remnant of chestnut silk I have. Also YAY for Gibsons in Green \ÖwÖ/
I came here from your grwm because I REEEALLY wanted a closer look at the crochet lace you mentioned there. Sad to say, tho, I don't think your lace is crochet. Yours looks pretty closely like machine woven bobbin lace... from what I can see. Regardless, you did a beautiful job piecing them, and your shirtwaist looks fantastic 👍🏻
thank you! I'm glad its not crochet as I know crochet cant be done by machine and the price I paid for it would not cover the labor of doing it by hand
definitely my plaid brown 1895 skirt, but I'm in the process of making a ribbon corset rn so that might change lol. This shirt is gorgeous btw!!!! I'm definitely going to have to try my hand at making one like it soon
My favorite project so far was the Halloween me and friends in college sewed Disney princess costumes. Mine was belle and my husband was the transformed beast. We also had jasmine, Ariel, and Meg from Hercules.
A black historical inspired vest/waistcoat, inspired by one of your videos btw... But I'm currently designing/making an everyday wear sheep costume, so ask again in a few months :D
