@@DaveIngelson yes you can. It's a lot of work. The question would be is this a video to show us how to make this bag or to show off how they make the bag. If they want to show us how to make it they should do it the way we would have to. Just my 2 cents.
@@steveman6789 Or, if you don't have a skiving machine, you can just skive by hand.... or not skive it at all. I don't have a skiving or sewing machine but that doesn't mean I can't take inspiration from those who do.

As always, excellent video and thank you for sharing your pattern. The Brass bar cover that you used to place over the zipper for measurements purposes, when folding the other side of the leather, what is it called and where did you purchase it?
