Finally. This is the kind of stuff I was hoping to see when you guys moved into the new space. This multi-part series looks like it'll be a lot of fun to watch. As for what to build next? I would say either the police or fire station. Can't wait for more.

My lil bro and I made a mini lego city in our tiny room, modern bit with NFS theme and my dad fiddled with unused copper wires and tiny bulbs and made them a lighting mini street lights, it's bases are hidden under the rubber mats and a customized Metal Gear REX on the side. Since we moved houses we forgot where we put them :(

I’ve been collecting legos for 5 years so i know pretty much the answer 😃 !!! So bricklink is what i recommend fot road baseplates. Desks I recommend IKEA tables.

AliExpress also, 4$ per plate free shipping for regular ones, they aren't lego brand but they're compatible, and easily the highest quality non-lego brand brick item from AliExpress you can get aside from a few company's Movie Deadpool figures.

Nice job, I really like how you have your track ballasted! That micro airport is pretty sweet too, guess it is not what you guys are going for, but IMO you should keep it and just say it is smaller because it is far away.

Instead of making a generic Lego city, why don't you make something unique, like a medieval kingdom or an alien city. It takes a lot of trips to Pick a Brick and tha but the end product is a lot more satisfying than a normal Lego city

yes but when you can actually compare things that have prices,you can imagine or see the amount of money he has,and makes him look like ,for example,a badass dude that has a lot of money. take note: each modular build is like 120+ euros, aproximately 160+ dollars,or 100+ pounds.

The bank will look isolated on its own. Try and use a building thsy can fit in directly next to it. Something with a plain wall.

It's not exactly uncreative. Lego city's are really pleasing to the eyes when done right. jangbricks is building a city the is going to be %100 custom and right now has Lego city place holders. These guys have all the modular builds which are meant to be put together into a city. And Lego city's are really cool. This may not be an original idea but when was the last time you heard of one having a race track. I haven't that's for sure. It's still creative of them to have all this planned out and building it. I know I would dream for a city that big. Over all I'm looking forward to this city. And it's not even done yet. So try not to hate it just yet

A Lego City is incredibly creative. It's *your* city. You decide where things go, how it looks, what to build, etc. Your city is unique. No one else has made a city exactly like yours. It allows you to create your own world.

I've never had table envy before... I don't think I have nearly enough baseplates to do all that, certainly not enough roads, but boy that looks like a good time. I'd want to do as many custom buildings and as few official sets as possible, on a project like that. Really make it mine. My suggestions would include things like an apartment building, and a suburban housing area.

Here's an idea...build a huge offshore oil rig that is 8x8 base plates? We see most things built from the baseplate UP. Let's see what goes on all the way to the sea floor. Full drilling operation, crew quarters, mess hall, oil tankers (and or pipeline) heli-pad...It's an industrial, construction, cranes, commercial, residential THING all-in-one.

Do corner modular first, then fill in rest the lot. 1.Store Shop next to Brick Bank because it's corner modular building. 2. Movie Theatre is an also corner modular building well 3.Town Hall 4. Go on....

Hi. I'd build the oldest buildings first. Not release date but historicly. Town hall, bank (already done) & maybe a park or town squar. Then build up the city as it would have grow through time, ending up with a mix of buildings. Could be fun to moc an existing building for a new purposes, bank becomes cafe? You have a daunting but envious build ahead!

Not really true that not many people get to build a big Lego city. Maybe they're not all this size, but I know several collectors who have a decent size city (I had one of 3 by 5 meters approx). Nevertheless, enjoy the build! Hope to see many updates :-)

I would consider what a new town needs first in reality. Police Station? Fire Station? Restaurants? Then Town Hall? Think about how your town started and what buildings were made first. Follow that.
