Making a lush pad on Maschine + with FM8

Unfortunately not a lot of synth editing can be done on your Maschine + in standalone mode. So here I use the parameters available and Maschine + FX to try and make a lush pad. As featured in my previous video.

Great pad man, but 30% cpu for one sound is terrible. Not possible. At this point, a the end of pad creation, be better sampled it. And the side chain, you can do subsequently ;-)

Used this exact pad in the previous video with 2 other instances of massive, 1 monark bass and 2 further instances of Raum, various other Maschine effects and cpu never got higher than 70%. I never like sampling pads like this as I feel there is an obvious cutoff at the end. I’ve only ran into 1 issue of cpu maxing out and that is in the latest video I posted. Cpu maxed out but there were no clicks or glitches.

@@crybo this thing you write, as owner of Maschine +, is really interesting. A good news. I will definitely try. However, to avoid cutting a pad sample, after sampling it, choose a longer sampling time; this gives you time to drop the pad release naturally. ;)
