When I was reading about the making of the Band of Brothers HBO series, I found out that the actors actually had to live and train like WW2 soldiers a few weeks before filming started. On the first day they received their leather paratrooper boots they were uncomfortable to wear for most of them, so one guy who used to do football (I believe) told them a trick: Soak the boots in warm water and then wear them while you sleep, by the time you wake up they should fit perfectly. And by golly he was right, so they didn't have to walk around in ill-fitting boots for the making of the show. Now I don't know what yours are made of and you might want to fact check my info but it might help. You have nice vids, great designs, editing and commentary too! Keep up the great work! 😄 Edit: Actually I found out the boot thing from an interview of one of the main actors on a vid on RU-vid, not reading about it
Lol I bought a 3D printer Saturday (ender 3 v2) and am watching it print right now. Going with the phase 2 armor. I also want to mention when I bought the files yesterday, I guessed “Rex” as a discount code for 10% off.
I finally got a 3D printer, and I’ve started doing my own prints! I’ve got 2 so far, a phase 1 clone trooper helmet that I printed in 3 pieces, and a phase 2 Clone Wars helmet that I printed whole. They both look amazing and I got both of my prints off of GA.com! Thank you for helping me get into this side of prop making and for making these videos to help get through it! Keep doing what you’re doing!
Thank you for talking about the shoe size issue and where you got yours! I wear a 15 as well and its constantly a struggle to find boots that fit. Definitely picking up a pair from Crow's Props for my clone armor.
It's currently 11pm and I've got school tomorrow *BUT* This is a must to see so f*ck you sleep schedule! I love your videos man keep up the great work I wish you the best! Edit: btw love from Germany!
Ok, so it doesn’t look like you sell the PRINTS for clone trooper heavy helmet, but you sell the PRINT FILES for clone trooper heavy helmet, I was wandering if you would be able/willing to make an exception? I was goosing to make a costom heavy helmet for my Halloween costume.
I have size 15 feet, too! It really is a hassle. Apparently, the size it is in the US isn't the right way to measure your feet. When it comes to boots, it's 15, but shoes are 14, 1 foot, apparently
