Thanks a lot for your kind words-we really appreciate it! It's amazing to hear that, especially since we worked on this project a few years ago. Oh, by the way, there’s big news: we’re currently in Australia working on the next part of the series, and it’s shaping up to be something special. We’re aiming to release it here on RU-vid by the end of October, so stay tuned! 🚀
Thank you Marketing Festival as well as Jan Kostera for this. It reminded me as what bypass things I quickly left out, which for me, is a being intentuonal as much as you can because of what could be a bigger area to do and get into.
We really appreciate it! Our main goal at Marketing Festival is to make sure our work (especially this documentary) provides real value to people. By the way, we're currently working on the second part, so if you're still into marketing, you might enjoy it. It’s set to premiere on RU-vid by the end of October. Stay tuned! 🎥
Thanks so much! We’re glad you enjoyed the interviews. We’re currently in Australia working on the next part of the series, and we can’t wait to share it with you by the end of October.
Thanks for the feedback! We’re thrilled you found it informative. We’re currently delving into how marketing is evolving in 2024 for the second part of the Making a Marketer documentary. Can’t wait to bring you new insights and perspectives by the end of October.
Wonderful content. I didn't like all the different camera angles and travelling B-roll during the interviews because it made focusing on the speakers words much harder.
Thank you so much for the kind words! We’re excited to see if the second part lives up to your expectations. More information about our journey: www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7232293630428741633/
The poor video production quality does a huge injustice to the gravity of the material being discussed and the heavy weights who are so keen to share this message the rest of the marketing fraternity. The next time you do this, do your preproduction homework. Tell a better story. Use 2 cameras to intercut the interviews. Do away with the arbitrary b-roll cut aways.
Yeah, I've got to agree with you there Mark. Really distracts me from the content because the b-roll isn't relevant to the topics being spoken about. I've also never been much of a fan of the BTS type b-roll. It's a doc sure but I prefer a style that doesn't pull your attention over to the gear they're using to film. I'd prefer to immerse myself in the ideas being shared like I would with cinema. Bringing the escapism and magic of movies into docs excites me but this didn't do that I'm afraid. Well chosen interview subjects though!
