Wow. Sometimes I really do go a little mad. Definitely had no idea what I was doing when I started out on this.
Clock is 700mm in diameter. Designed in MS Visio (because that’s all I have). Parts exported as Scaled Vector Graphics and imported into Lightburn. Pieces cut on an Ortur laser master 2.
Loads of challenges with this build. First learning to cut parts accurately (i.e. allowing for laser kerf), working out a method of assembly (in other words tags), working out how to actually glue and clamp the whole thing.
Anyway, have learnt a huge amount about the process and definitely have plans for a much more ambitions project, but that, I think, will be for next year.
Videography was a combination of my work and my very good friend James who was also responsible for all the editing, music, colour balance etc. Check him out at prowlingtigerm...
