Bro, you don't need all that to get infinite water, just remove 3 blocks in a row and pour water in the 2 sides, the middle block becomes ∞ water source.

Quick hide the hole in the bassin and make it a brain teaser for kids. Run a fake tube to a another source a ask them "how many pumps will it take to fill the bassin?" Silly? yes. But what kid doesn't like playing with water?
