Glad to see you back!! I tried the first two levels, the game is very fun, even tho is very hard (at least for me, i might just be bad at it xD) Also i think you should show the show after you die, that way the player is more incentivized to buy powerups from it (also because you barely notice it where it currently is) Either way... Good job, both with the game and the devlog!! :)

honestly, a really cool and simple concept, gameplay wise. also, that week and a half of music theory really paid off. i can see the original song getting old very quick, and the new one felt so nice and soothing in comparison, while still fitting to the gameplay. suggestions for the next update, maybe introducing new enemies and perhaps interactive objects, aswell as a way for players to design and play their own levels would add *alot* in terms of variety. but yeah, what a neat lil project! i'll have to try it out on an emulator sometime since i'm stuck with an iphone (dont bother releasing for apple, unless it goes viral it's ***really*** not worthwhile)

As a GUI -developer- -programming- self taught coder, I can say that even if I were to copy my code block to another project even if it is the same project idea.... yeah i can say that the code will like take 10 seconds to run and then it crashes itself.

did you use object pooling for the optimization, how did you do it because i also instatiate a bunch of object

I basically followed this tutorial ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-nf3gXt5m3Fc.html (I forgot to put it in the description). At the start of the game I instantiate a lot of objects and store them in arrays. If you want, I can also share my code with you. It's a bit messy and it can be improved a lot but it works really good.
