Very cute bag! I am thinking this style would make great gifts bags for Christmas and/or Birthday gifts. Fabric gift bags are great because the recipient actually gets 2 gifts - what is inside plus a reusable tote bag. I am definitely going to make some of these. Thanks for another great idea and tutorial!!😍
It might!! It’s just a vinyl I had in my stash. I measured the perimeter of the panel I cut and subtracted some to be able to have a nice tight curve with minimal puckering
Just a quick question I have some fabric that I have kept for a while because I wasn’t sure what I could do with it. It is Disney Pooh bear. I also have some from Game of Thrones from Harry Potter. I think I got it on clearance when our Joannes was closing after the pandemic Actually was during the pandemic. I was just wondering how do you show the licensed fabric? Is there a permission that you have to get or is there just something that’s real simple where you just let them know that you’re gonna be either showing it or selling it in small like craft shows that’s kind of what I wanna do.
If you bought the fabric you purchased “the rights” to use it but technically not to sell it. So long as you aren’t marketing using names of characters etc you’d be fine. Especially at a craft show.
Hey lauren, what tape do u use? I've seen some on sailrite they use a proper fabric double sided tape but yours seems to stick ok? .......also what embroidery machine do u have lauren?
