I’m sick right now curled up in ball when all the sudden, RU-vid notifies me that Boylei hobby time posted another video. This couldn’t be a more perfect timing.
I think your dad supporting you and your craft is so wonderful. I remember my dad buying me and my brother those Airfix airplane kits in a bag when we were little kids. He showed us how to build and paint them. I still build models to this day. I'm 61 now. I still miss my dad every time I sit at my workbench. You got a good dad, and he raised a good son. ❤
I remember my dad bought me a f-15 strike eagle, and we worked on it every weekend I was at his house. I don’t know where it went when he passed, but it still makes me sad we never finished it but it makes me happy to know he loved to help me build it and that he loved me and my sister so much.
I very much agree. Remember his Mines of Moria diorama from October 1st 2023 ? That's easily one of my favorites, the lighting and feeling of depth and darkness is superb. Imagine something like that scaled up, it could look even more incredible.
This system is insane. At first I thought 'way too flimsy for something of this scale' but by the time you were cutting the access in the back,I was a believer.
May the fourth be with you! Big thanks to Boylei Senior for providing the Falcon! And for Woodland Scenics for sponsoring the vid and sending you the goodies to build this awesome diorama!
There's a lot of (well deserved) comments on your amazing dioramas, but I wanted to take a second to praise your sound design. Voice over is always a good, consistent volume, music and sound effects are always appropriately leveled under the voice, and I love when you do fun audio things like at 7:00. Love your work, Boylei! May the 4th be with you!
We are just in awe of this AMAZING build @Boylei!! What a tremendous tribute to Star Wars Day and the wonderful gift your father gave you. Thank you for the fantastic representation of our products! We look forward to working with you in the future!
I love how quickly you ran over the whole paintjob of this huge Falcon model that other model builders spend several videos on, while the quality was definitely on par. Hope to see even more ship dioramas from you in the future!
Many of your Patrons are very diligent disciples. As evidence by the work they do. I enjoy seeing their pieces displayed too. Another awesome Diorama👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Props to your father, it's awesome to have him as a support for your hobbies. Father's day is around the corner, and the best you can do is make him proud.
In Andor, on Aldhani, there're farmers with goats. Not sheep I know but pretty close, plus the scenery does match quite well with what we see in the show
That planet with non-alien shmeep would be Terra Minraxa, in the Outer Rim. It's a lawless frontier full of ornery Scotsmen, bleating fluffballs, and pirate-radio coffeeshops tucked under mountainsides.
I’m always in my happy place with your channel. You and Luke Towen are the reasons why I got into HO and N scale dioramas. Absolutely love you guys. This model is absolutely amazing.
The has to be one of my top 5 favorite builds you've done. Not just the scale, but the whole environment and sense of scene that you accomplished. I would say next level , but I think you passed "next level" about six or seven levels ago. Simply amazing!! Awesome present from your father, nothing means more to a son than feeling the pride of his father. Also, Woodland is stellar for all the goodies they sent you. Not just the handful of items I'm sure you requested for this video, but a true metric $#!+ ton of stuff. Will definitely purchase more of their stuff when I get my hobby room up & running. Bravo good sir, awesome job! 👍👍 Keep on keeping on!!
This was awesome. I dislike immensely the new Disney stuff, but I still love Star Wars, and this brought a big grin to my face to see. I always dig your videos and your creativity.
This is absolutely amazing! I love it when you make star wars dioramas. One star wars diorama that might be cool is the scene in the snow between kylo ren and ray. Cheers!
Amazing work and on large scale. Be safe with the weather conditions . And a huge thanks to your dad for his support. There are a lot of people who learned from you. May God continue to bless you and your family.
Woodland Scenics terrain support system is really a thing to behold with how far the hobby has come. I remember one of my first college classes we built model trains in teams and to this day, I still reflexively ball up newspaper into the sorta mushroom cap forms we used for filler and structure.
This is so amazing. It really is beautiful! May the 4th be with you Boylei. Your creativity is always astounding, your build knocked my sock off as usual!:) Thank you for this awesome video.
The scene looks just like some landscape I drove through while touring Ireland in Dec 1981. I just missed seeing the Millennium Falcon and the coffee shop was closed for the Holidays. Darn the luck. The sheep, however, were very present.
Hey Boylei, next time you want to play some on-brand Star Wars music (that isn't from the soundtrack), play the suite that inspired the original Star Wars soundtrack: "The Planets" by Gustav Holst!! It's one of my favorite suites of all time! You'll recognize where the Star Wars soundtrack came from, just by listening to the first piece alone. I hope you get to utilize this knowledge in your next Star Wars diorama!!
Man, this was so much fun to watch. I love all the work that went into this from the model kit build to the intricate lighting to the terrain. Amazing build and video.
It's already been 2 months since I watched this when I came out. This video literally got on my recommendation out of no where and to be honest, I really missed watching you. This was my favorite video you've made I think so far and I really enjoy you're content overall. Keep it up!
What an astounding diorama! Your creative skills are amazing. From complex model assembly, and creations from nothing, your ability to work with clays and other modelling materials, and your painting skills I am just blown away. The scope of this build was impressive, the final result was beautiful. I was never a hard-core fan of either Star Wars or Star Trek, I simply enjoyed them both. I completely lost track of where all these new Star Wars derivatives have taken the story since Disney(?) bought it. I grew up with the original movie trilogy, enjoyed the prequel movie trilogy as an adult, then pretty much stopped following the story. Even as a casual fan I look at this wonderful piece of art and wish I owned it!
