Thank you. This is most perfect. We men talk too much about ourselves when doing things of this nature.Useless information and we believe ourselves to be funny and clever . This has to be the absolute best tutorial I have ever watched. Do more please dear!!

I've been looking at making a custom pickguard and this video has been a massive help. Why you don't have more subscribers is a mystery to me!

So glad it was helpful! I'm going to have a follow up video soon with a straight bit for dremel for routing the pickups in the pickguard

Thanks Mimi. I'm doing the same thing for an Affinity Starcaster that never had a pickguard and PAF sized humbuckers.

You guys should keep making videos about guitar repairs. I loved this one because I too think the matte black looks classy... But that other video really blew my mind. That guitar looked so trashed at the beginning then it looked even better than my first guitar 😶 You guys obviously love what you do and please tell your husband those Gold pickups were gorgeous 🤌🏼

Hey Lady, I just found your channel recently and this video just popped up. I saw you had a long gap between videos.. none of my business, but wanted to say you are very good at explaining and what I've seen is easy to follow and helpful. Hope you stick with it and grow your channel. Very helpful, thank you.

You are so sweet, and I really needed to hear that! My sister and my partner were hospitalized last year (when my videos stopped) and everything in my life became about surviving, now I feel I lost my groove but have been wanting so badly to get back into it so I've just made a few. Your comment has come at the perfect moment, it is the boost of confidence I really needed right now ♥️ thank you so much

@@mimimultimaker aww.. you're sweet. Comes thru clearly.. I am sincerely sorry to hear about troubles with your sis and partner. I assume business partner? You mentioned your husband in this video, I hope not him. I hear a refined southern accent, and heard a "y'all" (always a plus for this Texas fella) so I don't think you'd call your husband 'partner'. Either way, prayed for all and meant what I said. As for the channel, the grossest ever strat is up next for me. Take care, be well, keep it up when it suits you🤍

My husband and my partner, one and the same ;) I've lived in many places so the wordage and accent is all over the place Thanks so much for your kind regards. I hope you like the gross guitar video, it was so fun to do. I'll keep on making thank you

Your video was very informative and took us through the process step-by-step. Your production value added to the value of your process. It is always helpful to include the pro tips that you provided. Nice job!

Great work! I ended up doing a few mods to an (Epiphone short) ES-335 wooden pickguard for my Fender re-issue Starcaster. The wood color nearly matches the gloss neck/fretboard.

That looks amazing! I've been waffling on the Dremel router table. After shaping a pickguard with hand tools, I think I'll follow your path instead😆 I used my dremel in it's drill press rig, but I still haven't put a bevel on it yet. That Motosaw looks really handy, too.

silver sharpies are pretty good for marking, they dry quickly too.
