Great video, Ann! You wanted to know how each of us do ours. I usually throw my pot a little taller and lay that edge down about 3/4” or so. Then ruffle it. Also I like to do split rims with the ruffles or pinch them back together at even intervals. Next time I do one, I’ll send you a picture. Thanks!!
Hey, so nice to hear from you. So you mean you just stretch the rim downward? wow, I have never had good luck with that as my rim would crack. I love the split rims. I almost forgot about those. I would love to see pics if you get a chance!! Awesome!! take care
I was wondering how you could turn down the ruffles from the top of the pot. LOL It came out stunningly. I now have your little street secret for the ruffled edge. Thanks!
What a gorgeous vase Ann!! I love how you create a sort of mixed media look with the stripes of red and squares around the images. It’s so interesting to look at and again, your artwork is fantastic! Great video!! Thanks! Happy Fourth of July! 🎊🎉❤
Love how you consider the imagery to suit the form! Btw what glaze do you use to keep your underglaze colors so intense? Sometimes I have difficulty keeping the red vivid
I throw right handed despite being left handed...in school they made me throw lefty but I gravitated back to righty for some reason. Keep at it - you'll get it!
