It's great to see you enjoying using the MPC2000XL with just samples and putting it through it's paces. The Force and the Live are cool but for me the old slower workflow of the 2000XL brings an end result that is far more satisfying. IMO It's not about how much someone can do, it's about how good each end product is. Your end product on the 2000XL is the 🎼💣💥
That's the truth. Do you track out your feels to Daw? I'm still in a self debate about it, how different, sometimes too clean when I get it on the DAW to me. What's your favoured out, or thru if you favour DAW for the finals.
@@scotiushobius My individual outs don't work. I must have disconnected them when I opened up the MPC to swap the floppy disc for the CF drive. I mix the levels internally on the MPC and track out stereo to the DAW. My MPC is the sequencer for my MIDI hardware synths so they are on separate tracks from my MPC which works as the brain for my studio. The DAW is the recorder and I finish mixing and mastering in the DAW.
Brother Digs! Morning ritual is getting a fresh cup of coffee, logging in to online class (teacher duties) and listening to your beats on here to start the day.. Thinking about showing one of my classes or advisory one day. Peace ✌🏾
I’d love to see your sampling technique and workflow ... this is a lovely lovely beat .... and for everyone to see the experience you have to build these sounds would be awesome 👌🏻👍🏻
How does he get his beat from the MPC onto video in real time? In other words, is there some type of mixer or interface connected to the computer and video simultaneously? Dope beat and breakdown 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽
@@mpchead Thanks for the advice. I luv how your drums are always so pronounced. Much better then how mines come out. Any tips for more pronounced snares? Appreciate it Digs!
