Since you have a TIG welder you should get some sort of hardfacing rod. Weldmold 958 or something similar for tool and die repair. Put 3-4 beads on the cutting faces and re-grind. Then you have a hardened cutting face like 56-58 Rockwell hardness. You could cut sheet steel all day then. Depending on where you are in the world it may be easier to find hardfacing stick rods and just break the flux off before tigging it on.
how can you apply this with electric if possible. I'm trying to elminate the manual work time and replace it with electric that can increase the time to cut a little faster.
