Thank you! Yeah been considering doing voice over. Not much of a speaker so not sure I want to subject people to that, but much less time consuming than typing it and I could explain more. So I’ll likely give it a shot. Appreciate the feedback.
Thanks! Yeah that vice is really helpful especially for knife making. Much harder early on with just the large one that’s holding it. Pretty cheap too, but made well.
I love the knife, but I'm not sure I want a knife that doesn't fully lock when open. There should be another PC that you push down to unlock it to close the knife. I'm trying to build my first pocket knife, I've built lots of fixed blades, but I don't always wanna wear one on my belt. Great knife, but I'm not sure about the self closing blade. Thank you for the video
Yeah I’ve done a few slipjoints and a couple friction folders but mostly make lockbacks if I’m making folders. I have a few videos of that too. I really want to make liner locks but haven’t tried that yet. Thanks! and thanks for watching!
Hi did you use a corby bolt for the pivot? If so how does that work out? Are you able to get it tight enough. Do you use epoxy or thread lock in the pivot? Thanks. Love the idea of a corby for a pivot but thought those were for fix blades. Looks much cleaner than a peened pivot
Yes I used a corby bolt. It works really well. I’ve done it on about a dozen folders so far. I’m able to get it plenty tight enough. I do use locktite on the threads.
