Thank you :) great simple idea! and yes leather is cool. Now i'm going to make one for my flint and steel. Maybe i will try upholstery leather just to see the final effect! :P thanks again
It's actually from my scrap leather bin. It is probably a super softy pigskin suede from Tandy Leather Factory, the weight is a 1 to 1.5 oz. A great leather for numerous projects and sometimes a lining for purses. Thanks for watching.
Hi Richard, I've made about a half dozen pouches with buck skin hand sewn inside out and only one string "have to fight them to get them open". From now on it's 2 strings and flaps. Thank You again.
very nice indeed Richard, i harvest leather from couches and chairs. good quality and square footage galore. but i am going to have to pay for some heavier stuff, i need a few sheaths for various axes, knives, cleavers and whatnot. new sub, mmm hmm
Depends on the size of the poke you need. If you have a big enough size of leather you can make a couple of pokes for experience and different objects you need a bag for. Thanks for watching
wow!!!!! very nice sir...thank you 4 sharing this amazing video....i wonder if my singer sawing machine could work as good as yours??? thank you anyway:):):)
Great video Mr. Black. I was wondering if I wanted to add eyelid rivets to fancy up the tabs, would that affect the locking system of the leather pull cords, loosen them up?
