I always fount it amazing how Parker sings that high notes. From what I know so far (I've been watching you guys for 2 months now), he's not doing it for attention. He is indeed an unique individual, creative and interesting on it's own. I love to see each child's personality form. Together, you guys have a power family. Jessica, I remember you asking for recipes to make with plantains and I have a couple. I'm from the Caribbean and my mom would always get plantains and slice them about half an inch thick diagonally then roll it in cinnamon and sugar and bake for 10-15 minutes or if we had green/unripe plantains we would cut it in diagonally about 1-inch thick and fry for about 2 minutes then smush it a bit till about 1/2 an inch and fry until golden brown and season with salt. These are things I always make for my kids and they love it.

I think play kitchens are absolutely the most essential children's toy. it teaches kids that EVERYONE cooks, not just mom or dad or grandma, but everyone can cook, and it's a way for kids to safely learn about cooking and cleaning food and navigating that space. I had one as a kid and it was my FAVORITE, and then my nieces and nephew all had them too, it's gonna be so much fun for Flynn to have his own kitchen to share with his cousins when they come over!

I lived that Duncan helped makes Flynn’s present. But he made sure his cousin did not miss out on the candy from the piñata. So sweet. Happy Birthday Flynn!
