Making a Stiff Slab Vase 

Before you start building make sure to prep your workspace and gather your supplies!
To prep your space work on a clean piece of cardboard, canvas or newspaper.
Supplies:
-Clay
-Rolling pin or wine bottle
-Two even width sticks or dowels (whatever you can find! Pencils or chopsticks will work.)
-Texture tools (leaves, stamps, lace, whatever you have)
-pencil and paper and scissors
-Xacto knife or paring knife
-Needle tool or a similar skinny and pointy thing
-Slip (to make your own combine dry clay bits with a bit of water and mix to make mud)
-Small paint brush
-Rasp if you have one (you can make do without if you don’t)
-Ruler
-Plastic for covering your work while drying
