I know, I know, it's way too late for summer-themed content, but... maybe we can trick ourselves into pretending it's summer for just a little longer?
I've been working on this project for months and I'm so excited to share it with all of you! In this video, I'll be making a yellow gingham dress from a vintage 50s mail order pattern. It's got lots of gathered and bound details, as well as a decorative button on the front of the yoke, and by some unintended miracle, the pattern on the cotton lines up nearly perfectly.
Click the BUTTON to learn more about the history of the automatic buttonhole! (ok that one was really bad sorry) ismacs.net/whee...
Thanks so much for watching (and being dedicated enough to check the description box)! I've got plenty of other vintage fall-themed sewing content coming, as well as several sock plushie videos, so feel free to subscribe if you don't want to miss that!
